1.
[V1] In the name of God the Father, for the glory of the Son, in the power of the Spirit, now in faith we come. We are gathered in your presence as the people of the King and you raise our hearts to heaven as we sing. [C] We lift up your name, O God, you are worthy of our praise, so great in power and glorious in grace, so high and holy the mighty three-in-one: in your name we come. [V2] We will call upon your mercy as we celebrate your grace, and we’ll bring our joys and troubles as we seek your face. We will share the peace you’ve given as we feast upon your word; and you make us into light for all the world. [B] Open our lips, open our lips, and we shall declare your praises. Open our eyes, open our eyes to you. Open our hearts, open our minds, we’re trusting you to change us, open our lives, let Jesus shine anew.
2.
[Tag] Awake my soul - come worship. [V1] Come bring your worship, lift up your praise; look to the Father, call on his name. Honour the Saviour, Jesus the King; filled with the Spirit, stand and sing. [C] Every life laid bare, nothing hidden here, every heart’s desire known. Jesus purify, cleanse our hearts and minds, let your Holy Spirit come. [V2] Come bring your worship, come seek his face, trust in his mercy, rest in his grace. Come to remember all he has done, gather in awe before his throne. [Outro] With all our heart we worship, with all our soul we worship, with all our strength we worship, with all our mind we worship.
3.
[V] Most merciful God, our Father of grace, we confess we have sinned, we have walked our own way. Our love has been fickle, our hearts they have strayed. So, Lord, in your mercy, forgive us we pray. [C] Restore us, change us. Lord, lead us on. [B] That we may do justly, forever love mercy, together walk humbly with you.
4.
[V1] We come to hear your word: Lord, open up our hearts and lives again. So let your voice be heard: we're ready to receive this daily bread. [C] Your word is truth and life to us, so light the way. As we believe your promises, renew our faith. [V2] We come to hear your word: let revelation shape our hearts anew. We long to know you more: come, Spirit, lead us deeper into truth.
5.
[V1] Your word, O Lord, is my delight, it plants me like a tree that's rooted by the streams of life: so, Lord, set your word in me. [V2] Your word, O Lord, it lights my way, and by this light I see. It guides me in every step I take: so Lord, set your word in me. [C] Speak, O Lord, speak, O Lord, we are ready to receive. Speak, O Lord, through your mighty word, O set your word in me. [V3] Your word, O Lord, renews my mind, with truth that sets me free, and in this truth I am sanctified: so Lord, set your word in me.
6.
[V1] We believe in one God, the Father, the maker of the world. We believe in one Lord, the saviour, Jesus Christ the Son: God from God and Light from light, through whom all things were made. [V2] He came down from heaven to save us and died upon the cross. Risen on the third day, ascended to the throne above. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. [C] This is our God, this is our hope, our faith, our creed. It’s unshakeable, this is the truth that we believe. [V3] We believe the Spirit, who gives life, is worshipped as the Lord. We believe in one Church, united, sent into the world. We await our resurrection and the world to come.
7.
[V1] God our Father, King of heaven, let your Kingdom come. On the earth as in your heaven, let your will be done. [V2] Everything we need you’ve given; bread for every day. In your mercy we’re forgiven, may we show your grace. [C] Let your Kingdom come, let your will be done. [V3] Lead us not into temptation, help us walk your ways. Lord, deliver us from evil, hear us as we pray: [B] For the kingdom, and the power and the glory are yours, now and forever, forevermore.
8.
Living Bread 02:49
[V1] Living Bread in mercy broken, Jesus’ body for our need; we give thanks as we receive it for this bread is life indeed. [V2] Cup of wine, the blood of Jesus, poured out freely for our sin; as we drink we know forgiveness for this cup has grace within. [V3] Loving saviour, bread of heaven, here you meet us with your grace; daily may we know your presence and abide in you always.
9.
[V1] Jesus, you call us to this, your table, meeting our hunger with living bread; now, as we share in your broken body, so our hearts are fed. [C] This is our communion, gathered here in union with you, we are one. Yours will be the song we sing, evermore remembering your cross, and all you’ve done, until you come. [V2] Jesus, you draw us to taste your mercy, meeting our thirst with your cup of wine; now, by your blood, you declare us holy, filled with life, divine. [V3] Jesus, you send us to love and serve you, meeting the world with your truth and grace; now, by your Spirit, you lead us onward, to your glorious praise.
10.
Send Us Out 03:22
[V1] Send us out in the power of your Spirit, to shine your light in the way we live. Send us out in the power of your Spirit, as we’ve received, may we freely give. [C] Send us out, send us out, send us out for your glory. Let all we do be praise to you; send us out for your glory [V2] Send us out in the power of your Spirit to show your love everywhere we go. Send us out in the power of your Spirit, Lord, fill us up so we overflow. [B] We're laying down our lives, a living sacrifice, we're living for your glory and your praise. We’re taking up our cross, we’ve counted up the cost, we're living for your glory and your praise.
11.
[V] May the grace of Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Spirit be with us. [C] The Lord bless us and keep us, his face shine upon us, his grace and his peace rest on us.

about

This collection of songs, freshly prepared by our team of writers, is designed uniquely for what happens in church on a Sunday - those signpost moments that are common across traditions. In a break from many worship albums, we've built the tracks using a palette that reflects the musical line-up found in real churches. We aimed to create something authentic and new. Something contemporary, beautiful and inspiring for worship. And we hope something that is reproducible in your church.
