All Who Are Thirsty
04:19
|
|||
All who are thirsty, come to the Lord,
all who are hungry, feed on his word;
buy without paying food without price,
eat with thanksgiving God's sacrifice.
Why spend your money, yet have no bread;
why work for nothing? Trust God instead!
He will provide you richest of food:
come to the waters, drink what is good.
All who are thirsty come...
Call on God's mercy while he is near,
turn from your evil, come without fear;
ask him for pardon, grace will abound!
This is the moment he can be found.
All who are thirsty come...
Where once were briers, flowers will grow,
where lives were barren, rivers will flow:
praise to our Saviour, grace and renown
ours is the blessing, his be the crown!
All who are thirsty come...

Sing a hymn to God's great glory,
just and holy all his ways.
Let us tell redemption's story
singing songs of thankful praise.
God, who long ago created
music to inspire the heart,
lifts our souls, that stimulated
we may play our joyful part.
Sing a hymn of Christ's salvation,
our Messiah, Servant, Priest;
building us a true foundation,
giving us a holy feast.
He who lived and died for others
from his virgin mother's womb
now unites us, sisters, brothers,
through his conquest of the tomb.

Sing a hymn, in which shall feature
all the Spirit's living power;
animating every creature
day by day and hour by hour.
Sing, oh sing, in rhythm's motion
joining music, words and beat;
till the tongue and mind's devotion
in exultant worship meet.
Sing forever, all creation,
to the Trinity above.
Let the church in every nation
join in bonds of holy love.
Music of the highest order,
instruments and voices blend,
overcoming all disorder:
Songs of praise shall never end.

Tell all the world of Jesus,
our Saviour, Lord and King;
and let the whole creation
of his salvation sing:
proclaim his glorious greatness,
in nature and in grace,
creator and redeemer,
the Lord of time and space.
Tell all the world of Jesus,
that everyone may find
the joy of his forgiveness
true peace of heart and mind.
Proclaim his perfect goodness,
his deep, unfailing care,
his love so rich in mercy,
a love beyond compare.
3ell all the world of Jesus,
that everyone may know
of his almighty triumph
defeating every foe.
Proclaim his coming glory,
when sin is overthrown,
and he shall reign in splendour
the King upon his throne!
Proclaim… greatness!
Proclaim… goodness!
Proclaim… glory!
Greatness! Goodness!
Glory! Jesus!

Come To God's Table
04:32
|
|||
Come to God’s table, for all is prepared,
the bread that we offer is broken and shared,
Christ's presence among us is food for the soul,
reviving, renewing, and making us whole.
Come to God’s table, and drink of the wine,
the blood of the Saviour, in mystery divine,
the cup of salvation both priceless and free,
transforming God's people to all we can be.
Come to God’s table, we come as we are,
we bring all the burdens we've carried so far,
in body, in spirit, in soul, mind and heart,
to feed on the grace only God can impart.
Come to God’s table! then go in God’s grace
to hold all the earth in a heav'nly embrace,
sent out in the Spirit to tend and to care
in thought, word and action, our life is our prayer.
Come to the table,
come to the table,
come to the table of God.

How delightful is your dwelling,
O Almighty Sovereign Lord -
place of peace, where all my longings
are fulfilled, my soul restored.
Every fibre of my being
living God, calls out to you:
come revive me with your presence
and with hope my life renew!
This is where the tiny sparrow
near your altar finds her rest;
in a corner here the swallow
for her young prepares a nest.
So with all who find contentment
in your house, my God, my King,
may I also know your favour
and your praise for ever sing.
Blessed are all the pilgrim-hearted,
strengthened, so that as they go
arid land becomes a garden
where refreshing rivers flow.
On from strength to strength they journey
and at last arrive in heaven:
as we follow in their footsteps,
may your grace to us be given.
One day in your house is better
than a thousand spent elsewhere -
earth can offer no attraction
like the joy of serving there.
Sun to guide and shield to guard us
where your blessing is assured:
by your mercy keep us faithful
as we trust in you, O Lord!

God Of All Comfort
06:06
|
|||
God of all comfort, God of compassion,
reveal your mercy through us your church,
disturb our slumber, move us to action,
to show your kingdom on the earth.
Make us like Jesus, full of your Spirit.
declaring good news to the poor,
proclaiming freedom for every captive
and the favour of the Lord.
Show us the value of every person
show us your image in every face;
we all are equal, we all are broken,
and need the kindness of your grace.
We stand together, here in the margins,
there in the hardship and the pain,
we cry for justice and restoration,
until the silent sing again.
We hear the groaning of all creation,
we hear the promise of earth renewed,
so make us agents of your redemption
in this, the world so loved by you.
May we grow bolder, may we speak louder,
until your voice of hope is heard;
for we see Jesus, going before us,
to bring his kingdom on the earth.
We pray your kingdom come on earth.
We pray your kingdom come on earth.

For the gift of life on waking,
coloured sunrise at day's breaking,
for all beauty of your making,
we will praise your name, O God.
For the wonder of creation,
for the free gift of salvation,
for each cause of jubilation,
we will praise your name, O God.
Praise his name.
Praise his name.
Praise his name.
For the friends and loved-ones round us,
for the mercies that surround us,
for the love that sought and found us,
we will praise your name, O God.
For the sound of voices raising
hymns and songs of joyful praising
as they sing of grace amazing,
we will praise your name, O God.
Praise his name…
For your reconciliation,
for the sinner's transformation,
for your word - our sure foundation,
we will praise your name, O God.
For your love which lasts forever
and which binds our lives together
in a friendship none can sever,
we will praise your name, O God.
Praise his name…

Christ, who for our salvation came,
Redeemer, living Lord,
whose conquering death for ever speaks
God's favour, faith's reward;
your blessing rests on all whose eyes
your body cannot see,
yet who, through faith in you alone,
Your Body still may be.
Christ in the heavens, reigning now,
ascended, glorious King,
around whose throne the angel hosts
eternal praises sing;
rising on high to shower your gifts
on all who bow the knee,
and in the Name above all names
Your Body strive to be.
Christ in the Pentecostal rush
of wind and noise and flame,
of spirits stirred and tongues unleashed
to glorify your name;
your Spirit comes to burn and bless
and set your people free,
so that in power and joy and love
your Body they can be.
Christ in our hearts, to whom all praise
and honour still are due,
send now your Spirit on us all
to teach, empower, renew;
then, as your kingdom's Day draws near,
a startled world will see
your image made anew in us -
your Body we shall be.

1 May the mind of Christ my saviour
live in me from day to day,
by his love and power controlling
all I do and say.
2 May the word of God enrich me
with his truth, from hour to hour;
so that all may see I triumph
only through his power.
3 May the peace of God my Father
in my life for ever reign,
that I may be calm to comfort
those in grief and pain.
4 May the love of Jesus fill me
as the waters fill the sea,
him exalting, self abasing
this is victory!
5 May his beauty rest upon me
as I seek to make him known;
so that all may look to Jesus,
seeing him alone.
6 May I run the race before me,
strong and brave to face the foe,
looking only unto Jesus
as I onward go.

One Thing I Know
03:37
|
|||
1 One thing I know,
that Christ has healed me
though I was blind,
yet now I see;
to him I owe,
whose love has sealed me,
my heart and mind
at last set free.
2 One thing I pray
that in my weakness,
God's perfect might
will make me strong;
learning Christ's way
whose selfless meekness
is my delight,
my peace, my song.
3 One thing I do
put sin behind me,
press for the goal
to win the prize;
for Christ I go
who came to find me,
making me whole
to gain the skies.
4 One faith, one Lord,
one new creation,
one hope
of our eternity!
One holy God!
To our salvation,
glory and power
for ever be!

1 Your feet, O Lord, have walked this earth,
your knees have knelt among its shade,
teach us to tread your path of love,
and kneel where broken words are made.
2 Your hands have held the hand of death,
your side, the spear with evil bright;
take hold, and raise us from the wrong
that with such ease may seem the right.
3 Your breast was steeped in pain of love
when Judas thought to still your heart;
who dare betray the Son of God?
Who tear such love and life apart?
4 Your face looked down from that high cross,
and we, O Lord, were there in kind;
shine on us now from your bright throne,
and light our hands and hearts and mind.
5 So may our life of faith be lit
with gleams from your celestial grace
till faith no longer lends its light
and we adore you face to face.

1 The Spirit came, as promised,
in God's appointed hour;
and now to each believer
he comes in love and power:
and by his Holy Spirit,
God seals us as his own;
and through the Son and Spirit
makes access to his throne.
2 The Spirit makes our bodies
the temple of the Lord;
he binds us all together
in faith and true accord:
the Spirit in his greatness,
brings power from God above;
and with the Son and Father
dwells in our hearts in love.
3 He bids us live together
in unity and peace,
employ his gifts in blessing,
and let base passions cease:
we should not grieve the Spirit
by open sin or shame;
nor let our words and actions
deny his holy name.
4 The word, the Spirit's weapon,
will bring all sin to light;
and prayer, by his directing,
will add new joy and might:
be filled then with his Spirit,
live out God's will and word;
rejoice with hymns and singing,
make music to the Lord!

O God Of Love
01:59
|
|||
O God of love, our strength and guide
through all the changes of this life,
we come to you with griefs and joys,
in times of peace and times of strife.
And when the days of sorrow come,
grant us the faith to trust your love,
to see beyond our falling tears
and glimpse the light of heaven above.
Good Shepherd still, in all life's storms,
when clouds and darkness hide our way,
your love is with us, though unseen,
and never fails by night or day.
Nothing on earth, in life or death,
not depths below, nor heights above,
can hide us from your watchful eye,
nor separate us from your love.
